Our team remotely designed office interiors for Element Group Oy Shanghai office. That was the first project in the Designic portfolio located outside of Europe.
We took the roomy space with panoramic windows and designed a small entrance area with a reception desk and waiting chairs, an open space work area, offices for the manager and the accountant, large and small negotiation rooms, a lounge area and a kitchen. The office has a European feel to it and includes elements of Oriental aesthetics. We designed the space guided by the brand book, taking the regulatory norms into account and avoiding cliches like red Chinese lanterns. That resulted in a space not overloaded with decor and colorful elements. Every detail in it is associated with the company.
All interiors were designed remotely, with no on-site visits.
